LaTonya Y. Williams is the acclaimed author of Mixed Messages(#4 Karibu's Bestseller List), Make You Love Me, Missed Opportunities (AALAS Nomination for Best Fiction), and Messin' Up. LaTonya graduated from the University of Central Florida with a degree in education. She resides in Florida with her husband and three sons.  

Stepping out on faith, LaTonya resigned from her teaching position to raise her family and write on a full-time basis. Her dream was finally realized in May 2004, when she signed a book deal with Carl Weber's Urban Books. Thought to be a thing of the past, her relationship novels have touched the hearts of many. Her purpose is to write what she knows: women struggling to balance faith, family, and friends; while dealing with the harsh realities of life. 

Currently, she is working on her fifth novel (Extra Marital Affairs), developing a project for television, and completing her first Christian Fiction Novel (Just Wanna Serve).
